Green tea diet neutralizes the acidic metabolic
products which develop during a certain phase in diets.
Green tea diet makes us feel calmer and more balanced, protecting us from the diet related aggression which typically accompanies the beginning of the diet.
The main reasons for going on a starvation diet are self-awareness and purification. In order to go on a fast, you must be completely healthy because going without any nutrition demands a lot from your body.
If you want to go on a starvation diet, you have to choose the right drinks so that you get enough of the substances your body cannot do without.
Sugar-free multivitamin juices, still mineral water, and green tea are ideal for fasting. You should drink at least 4 liters of liquid a day, of which, half should be green tea. You should divide the remainder equally between still water and multivitamin juice.
Green tea is suitable to be used in a starvation diet due to the following factors:-
Because green tea caffeine content is tied to tannic acid, it gently eases the signs of fatigue
It stimulates urination, thus supporting the purifying effect of a starvation diet
Green tea acts a buffer against stomach acids and it has a relaxing effect. It can effectively ease the typical symptoms caused by sudden withdrawal of food such as stomach rumbling, stomach pains, and heartburn.
When food is withdrawn, the body produces ketones which are the by-product of fat metabolism. This can lead to an increase in acids in the body. The alkaline in green tea can stop this tiring acidic phase.
Finally, green tea contains important minerals, such as zinc, fluorides, and potassium. It also contains vitamins, such as vitamin C and thiamine. During a starvation diet, these are no longer supplied by food, which makes green tea an important replacement.
Green tea gives a perfect combination of all the free-radical trapping substances together with vitamin C and E as well as carotinoids, flavonoids, and tannic acid.
Green tea is used in skin care products particularly creams and lotions for two reasons:
They supply the top layers of skin with water, thus preventing the skin from being dried out by kitchen work and washing
They provide natural sun protection. Although skin care products containing green tea cannot filter the UV rays from the sunlight, they can trap their by-products, the free radicals a s soon as they develop.
Green tea is particularly helpful for treating normal and dry skin.
